Listening to the body is for everyone. This site is built to be read, navigated, and used on any device, with or without assistive technology.
This page says what standard we work to, where we still fall short, and how to reach a person when something is in the way.
1. The Standard
We work to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C. Where we fall short of it, we treat the gap as a defect to be repaired.
2. What That Means on This Site
- Headings in a logical order, so a screen reader can move through a page the way a sighted reader would.
- Alt text on images that carry meaning. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Every link, button, and form field reachable by keyboard, with a focus outline you can see.
- A “skip to content” link at the top of our main site pages.
- Text and background colors checked for contrast.
- Form fields with real labels, not placeholder text alone.
- Pages that reflow on a phone without sideways scrolling.
- Automated checks and hands-on keyboard testing. Tools miss things, so what visitors report matters most.
3. Where It Still Falls Short
Some video and audio on this site does not yet have captions or transcripts. We are adding them, and anything a visitor names goes first. If a recording is the thing you cannot reach, write to us and we will send you a text version.
4. What We Do Not Control
Parts of the experience are built by other companies, and we cannot change how they are built:
- The HRV quiz and the HRV Coach at coach.thathrvguy.com run on a platform operated by our technology partner.
- Checkout and payment screens are provided by our website and payments platforms.
- Embedded media such as YouTube, Spotify, and Instagram is served by those platforms directly.
We pass accessibility problems on these surfaces to the company responsible and tell you what we learn.
5. What Is Supported
This site is built to work with current versions of the major browsers on desktop and mobile, and with assistive technology including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and voice control.
6. Tell Us What Is in the Way
If something on this site is hard to use, we want to know. Send us:
- the page address,
- what you were trying to do,
- the browser and any assistive technology you use.
We reply within five business days and tell you what we can repair and when.
7. Reach a Human
Write to [email protected] or use the contact page. If a page, a guide, or a recording is the thing you cannot reach, say so and we will send it in an accessible format, such as a text transcript, a large-print PDF, or a plain-text email.
8. Changes
When this statement changes, the date at the top changes.
